Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes has said he is happy to be playing and winning trophies again with the team and is praying he doesn’t suffer from injuries in the future.
Los Blancos thrashed Pachuca 3-0 in the Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday, giving Los Blancos the title they needed.
The Brazilian footballer Rodrygo Goes stated on Wednesday that he can “help in many ways” for Real Madrid as long as he is “physically fit”, following his team’s triumph in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup thanks to their 3-0 victory in the final against Mexican side CF Pachuca.
“Mentally, it’s a bit tough because you want to be well, you want to help the team, and you can’t because you’re injured. It was a bit difficult, but everyone helped me throughout this process. Now I feel good. I hope to improve physically every day, because I know that if I’m fit, I can help in many ways,” Rodrygo said during an interview with Telecinco from the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
“I’m so excited, so happy to win this trophy and score again with this shirt on,” said the Brazilian, who scored the second goal of the game.
“He (Vinicius Junior, who scored the final goal from the penalty spot) is getting better and better every day. We are happy to have him in the team.
“Right now (I) have no injuries. It was difficult because of the injuries. I missed a month and got injured again. Now I feel UFABET better. I have to work harder and rest more.
“It’s affecting me (mentally). I want to help the team. Everyone is helping me with my recovery. I feel good now. Hopefully my body will get better day by day.”
